The special education director directs the organization, administration, and
supervision of all special education programs and a full range of services for
students with disabilities ages 0-21. These include programs for students identified
as developmentally delayed, speech-language impaired, learning disabled,
educationally disabled, hearing impaired, visually impaired, autistic, physically
disabled, and emotionally disabled.
